For Berlin Art Link, an online magazine for contemporary art published by MONA, we organized a one-night exhibition and party in collaboration with Studio IIII, a venue in Berlin that fuses contemporary art and clubbing. The exhibition featured an immersive presentation of Natalia Escobar’s video installation ›TRAVIESAS‹ and a live DJ set by the artist. The evening was sponsored by SOKÓŁ Vodka.

Natalia Escobar is an interdisciplinary artist working across moving image, sound, performance and installation. Her art practice explores Andean phenomenology, identity and memory. With ›TRAVIESAS‹, Escobar dives into the world of Las Traviesas, a group of trans indigenous women from the Embera people in the Andes Mountains of Colombia, who weave their way between coffee plantations, otherworldly realms and Embera cosmovision.
