Kunstverein Arnsberg is a non-profit institution for contemporary art, located in the historic center of Arnsberg, Germany. Since 1987, it has presented exhibitions and public projects featuring both local and international artists. Commissioned by Kunstverein Arnsberg, we produced a video offering an overview of the program held from June 27–29, 2025, as part of the two-year project ›Swamping‹, which explores wetlands and swamping as ecological strategies.
Curated by Pauline Doutreluingne, the weekend program featured the opening of Patricia Domínguez’s exhibition ›Liquid Mantras‹ at Kunstverein Arnsberg, followed by the transdisciplinary symposium ›Wetlands for the Future‹ at Kloster Wedinghausen. The symposium brought together ecologists, students, artists and curators to explore the moor as a hybrid space with poetic, social and ecological potential.
