For more than nine years, MONA has produced videos for Alserkal Avenue, Dubai’s most important art hub. From 2015–16, MONA documented Alserkal Avenue’s major expansion into a district which now houses twenty-five renowned, international galleries and art spaces, including ›Concrete‹, the first built project by OMA in the UAE, as well as the Alserkal Arts Foundation and its residency program.

Further, MONA has produced video documentation of several international art events supported by Alserkal – from the ›Safina Radio Project‹, a roaming recording studio and radio broadcast at the Dhaka Art Summit, to the UAE Pavilion at the 2017 and 2019 Venice Biennales, to Lantian Xie’s performance at the Shubbak Festival in London.
